According to Vedomosti, VSM Moscow cost — Nizhny Novgorod will make 621 billion rubles (200 billion rubles have to provide the budget and the Russian Railway). In case of success the branch can be prolonged up to Kazan. The report of the Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov supervising transport is signed and sent to the president, the representative of the government confirmed. The fate of the project depends on Vladimir Putin's decision. If the authorities decide to continue VSM to Kazan, the price of the highway will grow almost to 2 trillion rubles. Regions understood long ago that the major project brings extra big money. Producers of building materials and railway equipment, carrier of the Russian Railway.
