During the first in the history of an experiment which starts in an orbit on October 13 the printer will collect human cartilaginous tissue and a thyroid gland of a mouse. The bioprinter is called "Body.Avt". The principle of its work differs from usual. In the device there are no moving parts, in stronger magnetic field in the conditions of a microgravity the sample is formed not layer-by-layer, and cages are organized in fabric and begin to grow. In the device the cameras are mounted to watch the events. At the ISS together with the printer ditches with biomaterial in special gel will depart. In space gel will turn into nutritious liquid. Assembly of a biodesign will require less than a minute. Then within a day it will get durability. After that will add a clamp that bodies remained before sending to Earth in several weeks to a ditch. Upon return scientists will study the turned-out biodesigns to correlate them to those that turn out on Earth. Developers consider that the press in space allows to reproduce more precisely process of growth of fabrics, how it occurs in the nature.
