As the president of Belarus noted, the country wants to buy oil through Baltic ports, to process it and to sell to the Baltics oil products Alexander Lukashenko. Photo: Mikhail Mettsel / TASS Russia can "lose the only ally on the western direction", that is Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko said. To occur it, according to the Belarusian president, can because of tax maneuver in Russia. Reform assumes gradual zeroing of export duty on oil and at the same time growth of an internal tax on production. Respectively, the Russian oil which Minsk receives duty-free now for Belarus rises in price. Lukashenko specified a way out: Belarus wants to buy oil through Baltic ports, to process it and to sell oil products to the Baltics. At the same time the head of Belarus did not mention that in this case raw materials should be bought at the world prices which are much higher than the Russian. The situation was commented by the leading analyst Fonda of national energy security Igor Yushkov: Igor Yushkov is the leading analyst of Fund of national energy security "History which we see regularly from Belarus. These are purchases of oil from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, and even threat of purchase of oil from Iran. Constantly scheme same: give we we will buy from someone, Russia from it it seems as will receive less money and will agree to the Belarusian conditions on any there agreements and negotiations. In reality of Belarus all can sell oil. It is not problem — it to buy in the world market. But it will be more expensive, than at Russia. Perhaps it, for example, bought from Kazakhstan, and it sells to them at market prices. Azerbaijan has the same. And with the Iranian oil, for example, too announce that they bought oil. The tanker here from Iran goes — and it will be fine. So it did not come to Belarus at all, it got lost somewhere in Europe. To you made oil 5 dollars more expensive within tax maneuver now. Just at us export duty was reduced by 5%, and MET grew by 5%, and here oil for you and, rose in price. But same it is much better, than you will buy at the world prices. If you want, please, buy. Therefore all this rating of a negotiation position". In the last days of the last year Lukashenko met the President of Russia Vladimir Putin twice. However officially about results of negotiations it was not reported. Minsk insists on that Russia paid Belarus compensations for growth of cost of oil. Earlier Lukashenko said that Moscow promised Minsk to offset losses from tax maneuver. The Russian government disproved it. Now the president of Belarus said that Russia concerning compensations did not tell yes, is not present. As for deliveries from the Baltics, the tax maneuver will come to the end only in six years, and up to this point it will be all the same more favorable to buy the Russian oil, than in Lithuania and Latvia. The independent expert Dmitry Lyutyagin continues: Dmitry Lyutyagin the independent expert "From where the Baltic countries buy oil or нефтепр
